As far as Concealed Handgun carry in Texas, the laws are extremely finite! A public establishment MUST have the correct signage by law (30.06) to restrict authorized licensed carriers. Signs not conforming to 30.06 can also be considered illegal and prosecutable by a CHL holder if harassed about carrying. (I will give on this point…how would they know you are carrying???) Texas does not yet have open carry (I stress yet, it’s on this year’s Texas legislative docket).
One biggie for Texas CHL holders to remember…there is NO legal limit of intoxication while carrying! Blow a .00001 and you are breaking the law.
