However, extremism on either side is not helpful but divisive. I do not believe we should all meet in the middle either, lean right and show tolerance to those that would return it and ignore stupidity. I went to college to be a social worker specifically to help veterans with PTSD, Drug and alcohol addiction, and the like. I believe as veterans we have to be the example not the problem. We own it to those who didn't make it back to live well, and teach our children what our country stands for. One of my professors reported me to the college threat assessment board where I had to defend my right to get the education I was after because in his words I was an abomination to his profession Because I was a Conservative and more-so because I was a combat veteran that believed in what I fought for. I actually had to go before a board on his complaint and was confronted with the very first statement to me, "If we allow you to stay in school here you will have to see a councilor twice a week" and I interrupted with wait a minute, what have I been accused of doing? I was told I was heard making death threats against my wife and children, and people at school. I asked for someone to present me with any evidence of that, as no such thing would ever come from my mouth. and once the board learned that it was my professor who thought I might be a threat because of my combat experience and that I had actually said nothing threatening to anyone, and even said that if there were a gunmen on campus I would be an asset because I would go to the gun fire instead of away from it and use what I know to die or stop it. I was fully reinstated as a student, apologized to, and thanked for my service. But the person who started the whole dam thing remained and still remains in the same position without any repercussions for what he had done to me. Yes I was up-set about the situation but I did not do the ex LAPD thing over it. But I could not finish my degree at the University of Findlay because he would not except my work so I could not complete his classes. He even ended my internship with a local social outreach program. I ended up needing to check into the VA hospital so they could work on my again, they sent me to the Cleveland clinic because the VA did not have Neurosurgeons that could do it. I never went back to school , a semester and a half away from my BA. Back to the point we do need a mixture of educated people in Government but we also need to recognize that going along to get along does not work when dealing with Libtards (if my use of that word offends anyone let me know I will not use it if so) they have no tolerance for anyone that does not agree with them period.

Paragraphs... please!
"Libtard" does offend me, but I am in a minority here on that subject. (It offends me as would "Right-wing Nut Job" or "ConsevativeCrazy"... I am an equal-opportunity offendee.)
