If you're going to use photoshop do it this way. Open the image in it's original form, on the drop down menus click Image, then Image size. Make sure there is a check mark by Constrain Proportions and a checkmark by Resample Image. Bicubic should be in the little box next to the latter.

Next, Change the higher number in width or hight to 150 pixels, note, 150 has to be the higher of the 2 numbers or the board won't let you post it. Then click OK and you should have an image you can live with.

When you're resizing an image it's always best to resample if possible.

Or you could use this one of these. The first is a transparent gif and the second a jpg. The gif has flakey edges.
