Technically, he is correct and has a valid argument that if, this was heard in a court-of-law, you'd stand an excellent chance of losing.
The young lad could probably get a lawyer to do it pro bono.
BTW...Don't hate the player, hate the game because it's quite evident that you've taught him to play the game.
