I felt compelled to start this thread after the Yankees were SWEPT by Detroit.... (Did I say SWEPT....yes...yes... 4-0 ENDEX

(The only thing better than the Red Sox winning is the Yankees losing)
So as we await the other half of the dance card for the Series it will be interesting to see New York's actions over the post-season... Being taken to 5 by Baltimore (who wasn't "supposed" to be there) and the super-nova of their star power was fun to watch (not the injury part...but the failure to perform when the chips were down).
Thinking the Series to be a battle in the Midwest....
