Unacceptable on all levels. I have never seen anything like this in my eight years spent in the Army. That 1SG should be held accountable for his action just as any other Soldier would. IMO at a minimum he should be removed from the company and lose his diamond.
As we move our way through the ranks; into senior leadership positions we develop (or should) maturity and the ability to see things from hind sights. When I became a young buck SGT I had the typical “look at my big dick” attitude and based what at the time I call being a good leader on how loud I yelled or how many push up’s my Soldiers did in a day. After a few months of that “if you’re smart” you start to understand that you’re just an idiot with a big mouth, true leadership is teaching and mentoring your Soldiers into what the Army needs then to be. (These are not just words it something you have to truly understand) Apparently this so called 1SG (AKA: dip shit) did not go through this learning process and should start from the bottom again to recapture what he should learned in the first place.
