Yes i have posted an introduction. for those who dont know, i am currently assisting ARSOF A&S right now.. I have completed all the prerequisites to become an 18D except Robin Sage, to include sere and language which used to be after you got your tab. (I am a fully trained 18D - Requested removal), unfortunately last november i could not finish sage because of a lingering leg injury. I have been back and forth to the clinic and after almost a year i am finally getting treated.

Currently i am listed as a 68w w1, because unlike the navy, we do not have a SOIDC. IF anyonbe questions my position out at ARSOF, if anyone knows any cadre out there, you can check up to see if i am legit. I am not assigned out there; however, the Senior medic is in SLC and I have been honored with the Senior Medic position even though i am not assigned to ARSOF A&S.

I wanted to be vague at first, and i appreciate all the information. This man is my abusive step father who used to abuse my mother, brother and myself physically and psychologically. I left my home when i was 16 because of this man after my mother was killed in a car accident.

I have not spoken to this man in almost 13 years, and after my wife cheated on me and left me in the Q, she ran up to NJ, uses this man as her moral compass, which is non existent and he has been a negative influence in my childs life. I needed information to see how far his lies go back and it appears to go back to even his military days.

I dont know much about his time in the military because i distanced myself from him long before i joined the armed forces and went on the path i did. I remember him always telling us about how awesome he was, i never realized until after i served with true heros and great soldiers that people that are awesome do not talk about how awesome they are.

From what i read in responses it appears that a course like this would be considered the equivalent of a SDM/LRM basic class. I have taking long range classed with the M14, and the M4 (which is kind of stupid with the M4); however, they arent anything special.. Can i use an M14 accurately to 600 meters? Yes, that doesnt mean i am a sniper.

Its just disgusting to me because my adoptive grandfather was a navy pbr vietnam vet with 3 bronze stars and 2 purple hearts. Then we have my step father, who may not be lying but is obviously boasting his certification a little more then it actually means. He told us when we were growing up "He was the best counter sniper in the military." I cant even fathom to believe anything this guy has ever said...

Yet again, thank you for all the answers you guys gave me. I am also sorry for the delay in responding, some of the fun side duties of my position are covering pt tests and giving med briefs for the CA and PSYOPS "selection" programs also. I currently have a court date on Sept14 trying to protect my daughter from these people.

one more time i can not thank this community of true professional soldiers more. Thank you for allowing me to be part of this community, i plan on switching to guard just in case they can fix me, i want to try to have a door open to possibly become a true "Quiet Professional" if i can. That doesnt mean barely make it through sage and be a b-team guy, SF deserves better. If thats all i can do, the beret doesnt mean enough for me to take up space on a team and be useless. I have the knowledge and that is what is important.
