They had a key that fit the lock but did not open the door. I now live in an apartment. My guess is they are new here and thought they were opening their own door.
Probably the second time in my life that I scrambled for a gun to meet a possible threat. Four seconds from couch to door is not bad.....
Then again, I'm never far from a gun, especially in my own cave.
