I don't know, but the president certainly doesn't apologize for it like he did for this. According to what I've read, we followed SOP by burning belongings of EPWs, WHY anyone had to know we burned them is beyond me and not anyone else's concern.
IF they protested peacefully, then ok issue an apology for damaged feelings of the "innocent people". They Killed two Americans SO FAR as a result of their protesting... a boot in the ass is more appropriate IMHO.
