Quotes like the above can easily give an impression of the writer different than I hope he intended. Consider the fact when these pictures were taken we were in the Cold War, and Pakistan was a major US ally in the region, both for operations against the Russians in Afghanistan and in general. We also don't know if some of these "Pakistani students" are now US citizens who live in Cleveland with 2.5 kids and vote Republican.
The simple unfortunate fact is OBAMA is the POTUS now and for the next term unless the American people vote him out next year. Obama could do his next White House press conference in a pink Hijab and say yes I am both gay and a Muslim, it wouldn't change a thing he would still be POTUS. Though as a Republican myself, it would be nice if he did pull such a stunt before next November.

Well said. We must remember the main goal: defeat of Obama in the 2012 elections. Whether true or not, this stuff does NOTHING to advance the cause of non-Obama forces. It only reinforces, as AKV so ably stated, the fact that "we"
are weirdos on the fringe. The average American is NOT going to admit that "they" made a gigantic mistake in 2008 in electing Obama - no matter what the truth of the matter is.
We need to focus on a finding a candidate - and to my mind, he or she is NOT out there yet - who can defeat Obama in November, 2012, especially in face of what appears to be a slightly improving economic climate... which, if it continues could spell doom for the GOP no matter what.
"I weep for my country."
