Heaven forbid that the country should have to honor its debts to the volunteer military force that has repeatedly done the bidding (smart, or otherwise) of the appointed civilian leadership.

Better we should cut the troops' benefits than people who sit on their lazy, fat asses all day, produce nothing of value, learn nothing of value, bitch about what they are being provided by their betters, consume, and pop out their bastards from multiple unknown sperm donors for more money.
