I know those guys
I had the opportunity to meet and shoot with the sniper element from FOB GABE in Ba'quba while on my PDSS last week. The guys are il-equipped for sniper duty, M16A2s with an ACOG is the norm. The current team has been working wiht them as much as they can. While I was there they did recieve 1 M21 out of surpluss that appeared to be in pretty good shape. Those boys have done some good missions, and stopped quite a few bad guys putting out IEDs.
ITs good to see some good press from time to time.
