Flipside too. Don't get rid of stuff you might need later... same goes for packing out to go downrange... I've had the thought "Hmm, I really don't want to bring this, but I should just in case" prove me right later on. But don't bring broken stuff - cause no matter how much you might need it later - it's still going to be broken!
