My son's team is doing really well - he's the youngest on the team but has speed and a boot to match the older kids. He's logged several assists and a goal thus far this season. He's also found a good balance between aggressive tackling and playing angles on defense.
The conference was a good time - anytime I can get travel expenses paid weekday trip plus a check just for talking for 15 minutes is not bad. The open bar during the evening session was my favorite part.
