I was imbedded with the 3rd Cav. when Tal Afar was smacked, I went in the day after the big fight. I was at the old hospital in Fort Tal Afar, the old Fort down town. I met an ODA leader at the new fort when I was fixing the roof. I never went to the Fort after I transfered back to the airport project in Mosul. Even though the town of Tal Afar was known as a town of thives to the rest of Iraq I made some very good friends. I can not thank the people that were there to help those people enough. A month can be a life time
