My uncle Grant (OSS), was a "stay behind" fighter in the P.I. after McCarthur pulled troops out. Not a lot of fighting, more like hiding and watching. He wore a cowboy hat, rode a horse, carried a .45ACP.
Saddly, Stetson no longer makes hats, Resistol purchased the name a few years back. Trust me, no new Stetsons, just a single piece of poor silk made in China, glued inside of a shit felt hat, (rabbit, mink, squirrel), no beaver. My grandfather is rolling over in his grave.
