I look at it as getting one last dig in on the deceased scum bag. It's like pouring salt into the wound. Or in this case, pissing on the corpse of the bad guy. "That's right, tough guy. You got your ass smoked by a little girl with a PINK gun!" Not only does that mandate his worthless, cowardly soul goes to hell. It automatically makes him somebody's b*tch for eternity.
