I wonder what they'll do with prior service Guard soldiers who have rank. I went through WTC as a SFC and all the guys heading to SFAS were fellow NCOs. All of us had been drilling with our units prior to attending WTC too.
Personally, the training at WTC could have been done at the unit-level.
I will admit there is a steep learning curve going from a sister service to the Army though. The cadre didn't really appreciate my first time calling cadence. I learned D&C from Marines.
