I always had the Medics share that responsibility with the Engineers - more eyes reviewing the PB and supply requests led to fewer errors and, because the Medics used the supply system on a nearly continuous basis, they were equally adept at understanding it. It also gave me 2 capable people for managing our equipment and supplies when operating in a split-team mode vs relying solely upon 1 man.
