I disagree with you on that one...from an educator's point-of-view.

Some people merely need a bit more time to process information - doesn't mean they don't know the material or can't do it. However, I fail to see a problem with the extended time if - reasonably - they've (1) got a documented LD finding which warrants it and (2) they're not looking to be, say an ER Physician, but seeking an MD in something for which they best have an aptitude and where the time constraints are not a critical issue (such as Psychiatry or Dermatology or a similar speciality).

I know such an MD who was given such accomodations at Texas Tech - she's a hell of a Doctor.
