And if the shitty films that (we'd rather suck-start a Glock than have to watch) can't get a as big of a draw at the box office as the big-budget productions then the wealth needs to be spread out evenly so all movies are equal. The same goes for the actors. The ones who can't act their way out of a paper bag should be subsidized by the ones who can.

That argument reminds me of the time I got a fellow medical student to walk out of a dean's dinner because I shared my belief that certain medical students shouldn't be granted extra time on tests than their peers. She called me an asshole - then I replied - Okay - so I want to be a professional football player - I'm not as fast as some of those guys and can't catch as well so should I be given a head start on each play and special gloves to give me a fair chance? That's when she left.
Forget having the actors subsidize each other - they should still get their multi-million-dollar-per-movie contracts only to come home with what equates to minimum wage - the rest can be put into the social pot they want so badly.
For some reason I don't think they'd be so crazy about what they preach after that...
