Many years ago in Jacksonville Fla. Auto theft was a major problem. When a car was stolen and running from police. All the Police would listen in on the radio and find out where it was going. They would stand on the corner and all take shots at it when it would drive by. Owners were complaining that their car was full of bullet holes when police returned it to them.
There was a huge drop in stolen vehicles thou once word got out that the cops weren't playing anymore. Even thou they really were just having fun.
