I actually wrote much of the above as part of a book review for Thomas Nelson Publishers before he was elected. After watching him in the Democratic Primary Debates, though i didn't like it, I knew he was going to be our next President because he was eloquent, black, the antithesis of Bush, and connected with the nation on an emotional level - in fact I blogged on that in November 2008. I hoped against hope that there was something there. i was sadly mistaken.
I'll edit that part out - because I do not believe it and never have - just hoped it was so.....besides, as a reviewer for TNP. I was trying to be PC. :-)
