They love their BiPaP here in South Florida. People with valid DNR orders in respiratory failure are frequently ordered on BiPaP. It can not a ventilator, and doesn't require intubation. I think it is ethically wrong and nothing more than an attempt at an end-run on the patients wishes. People deserve the right to die on their terms.
