The calendar on my iPhone, with its alerts and alarms, has replaced the notes on my refrigerator. The number of magnets holding up said notes had grown exponentially with the ever-increasing number of notes, and threatened to shift the earth's magnetic poles, or throw the earth off its axis and hurl it toward the sun!
