A reasonable answer, thanks. I just find it irrelevant to the story as a whole. I also find it interesting that if someone stabs or bludgeons their family to death the media is not concerned with how long the perpetrator owned the knife or Louisville slugger used in the act.
Anyway, my question was based on a random observation that unfortunately shifted the focus from the tragedy at hand. I apologize for the distraction and pray that Col. Schenecker has other family and close friends to help him through this difficult time.
