Not at Times Square. But with (tens of) thousands of NY's Finest there, the rest of the city might be a bit vulnerable.
While I was at DHS, I saw the security layouts (couple of years ago). If anything happens on camera tonight, I'll be really surprised. Yes, there are ways for a determined assaulter to do some real damage, but they have to find a crease in the security. Adding to the cops, there's a few million New Yorkers who'd stomp a bad guy into a pudding before they got anywhere. Just sayin'.
Regardless, I'm going to say a prayer for the folks who are protecting those who'll be there tonight.
