I read this, and I realize how fortunate I am.
You (read: me, a cherry assed leg in TRADOC,
) get the boo boo face when you're pulling security in a patrol base at 3 am, and then you read that there are literally thousands of people who would love to trade places with you in a heartbeat for the job security.
I think the next time I take a knee and face out, I won't mind so much.
Not that this compares to what you men do.
