Why? If it's funny you can get away with just about anything, this has been the case through history, and IMHO won't change unless human nature does.
Take even a despotic Nazi for instance, Head of the Luftwaffe Herman Goering. He loved uniforms and medals and would often wear as many as possible. Berlin comedians joked he had a duplicate set of rubber medals made for wear in the bath tub. When police forces informed him of this and offered to arrest them, Goering replied something like, " No, no, if the people are saying this, it only proves how popular I am."
