Back in the very late seventies and early eighties, all personal were intially assigned to "SF Company". It was over in COSCOM area of Fort Bragg. If your were going to phase 1 or dropped for whatever reason you were assigned there. You knew this guy was a "real" supply sgt, because when he was asked weather he would rather be dead than go the field, he asked for a few minutes to think about it.
