They had a similar problem in the 50s and 60s. At that time it was the Algerians and the French decided, almost too late, to handle it properly. There was blood shed, recriminations from the left (go figure), and hand wringing, but the problem did get solved.

Yes, some innocents were killed. A pilot friend of my father's was shot when he reached for the emergency brake at a road block. US Chevy with brake down by door, French brake in between the seats, you can guess the reaction when he reached the "wrong direction". But, again they had almost let it go too far.

I fear this time they decided to not learn from history, liberal hand wringing does slow progress, and the BS of multiculturalism will not die.

Question(s), why must WE be sensitive to others in our own country instead of them be sensitive to our heritage? Why must we worship at the alter of multiculturalism, when those that come here chose to ignore anything but their culture? Why does someone have to be a dash instead of an American?

So much crap and the libs love to wallow in it.
