FWIW I tend to believe Thurlow's account....My reasoning? I was awarded a Bronze Star for actions at Calvigny Barracks in Grenada. A good friend recieved the Silver Star for the same action......His write-up referenced burning helicopters, mine referenced helicopters "in danger of catching fire" (same helicopters). We laughed about it then, and still do. BTW the same Officer wrote both recomendations.
