The following is from the desk of MIIS Dean Sunder Ramaswamy:

(Note: Upon further investigation, we have concluded that the aforementioned desk is not a desk, nor has it ever been a desk. Rather it served only as an independently contracted table retained to fill an empty corner. Yes, even though up until last month we did refer to it as an “adjunct desk” and advertised it as such on our website, we have since deleted such information with the hope that everybody would forget the close association we sought to cultivate.)

(We apologize for the lack of vetting process, but if it makes you feel any better, both law enforcement and other government agencies thought it was a desk as well.)
