Very, very rarely are we given the luxury of perfect information prior to having to make a decision. At some point, one needs to man up, make a choice and live with the consequences. Either you want to take a chance and try for SF, or you're too scared of failing to take the risk. Decide what you want out of life and choose. The only thing you're guaranteed in life is that at some point, it will end.
