Uncertain... I am not a military person, so I am not going to fight battles with you that aren't mine. I am shocked however that you would make posts in any way defending Bill's actions in this forum. Have you even given a thought to how that further minimizes the great service of true special forces?

I get what you are saying - Why would you challenge someone with that story, etc. etc. But you have either forgotton much or don't know the half of it. I guess what I'm saying is, I don't know you, but I know "wisdom" is not your strong suit.

This man has been paid, prayed for, honored, served, and looked up to by victims of some of the most deplorable criminal circumstances performed by human beings... what in your right mind would possess you to think any comment of "be gentle" is rightly placed PRIOR to this man making his own sin made known by his own actions?

He did boast about his false military career... everytime he accepted the announcment as Col., and with every community award given to him as a hero.

You need to put it all into perspective - which you have failed to do thus far.

My personal gripe with the man is his profession of Christianity. Is this what he has chosen as "fruitful works" with the "new life" he found in Christ?
That's not a testimony - it's a crying shame! He's taken the role on more than one ocassion as a spiritual leader to other Godly men. If it wasn't for this fact I'd shut my mouth and let him be devoured by the enemies he's put his own hand to making.

He comes public and repents I'll be in line to help him find God along with some personal level of restoration... until that time he has done nothing but to glorify his own flesh for worldly reward and at the great cost of others. He is the same kind of person who contributes to human trafficking and the wake of disaster behind him will probably do far more to hinder the fighting efforts against this global crime.
