I guess the Pentagon didn't get the memo. Or this was posted after the fact.
The KCBS pilot might not have seen that since they would not be operating in that area. But, I'm surprised that some airline pilot, or dispatcher, or ATC controller, or the FAA itself didn't come forward.
Clearly a sub launch. I'd have LOVED to have seen that!
