10 years passes quickly. I was on the USS Camden in the middle of a WESTPAC when the Cole was bombed. We spent several days in the Gulf of Aden providing meals, racks, and clothes to the surviving crewmembers of the Cole.

The Camden was an AOE (ammunition oiler), so we had to pull in somewhere to take on more fuel after that event. I think it was Jebel Ali...but security was an entirely different deal after that. The mindset shifted overnight, and rightly so.
