Once I got tired of going through the whole serial number registration forms and format crap...I tried saying that exact thing when I inprocessed at Drum, PACOM, Lewis, Leonard Wood, and here Bliss.
Only at Bliss...Suddenly I was locked in a little room with 4 DOD Security folks waiting on the MP's to arrive and read me the post commander's policy on handgun ownership and registration for off post personnel. 
2 hours later they "let me go" after telling me that I was lucky I didn't get cited for "being disruptive" 
Go figure...ME! DISRUPTIVE! Me thinks not.
