To punish smokers in 1628, Sha Sefi punished two merchants for selling tobacco by pouring hot lead down their throats.

I’m willing to bet Sha Sefi didn’t like Skoal, or Copenhagen :-)

OTOH, the Sons of Liberty poured hot tea down Malcolm’s throat. I wonder if they got the idea from Sha Sefi
