Sir, I think that's exactly his point. If you remember, 40,000 was his minimum reinforcement request going into theatre and the first major breach with the Obama administration occurred when Joseph Biden second-guess McChrystal in public ... then McChrystal put Biden on the spot with that following interview in Great Britain. I forget the date.
I just think it's interesting that he threw the number out that way.
