When Arafat died CNN ran weepy retrospectives and they weren't alone.
Countless people celebrate history's a-holes like che, chavez, mao, etc.. There are only a few villains that are un-supportable by the elite (hitler and vlad the impaler) and who knows where they'll stand in another decade.
I don't watch CNN so I don't really care if one of their team is a douche. The fourth estate was lost a long time ago and CNN ratings reflect that.
I doubt that her love of the Ayatolla was reciprocated. Her western appearance would have made her head a stone-stopper by his views.
