Not really, if a Chicagoan who lives in Lincoln Park sees the city as mostly safe where a resident of the Pullman neighborhood sees the city as mostly unsafe.
So to claim that a rash of shootings in the worst neighborhoods, where gangs drugs and violence are an everyday condition of life for all residents is proof of a failed policy only makes a pro gun arguments look foolish.
If the article was one where law abiding citizen was gunned down in his home with only a baseball bat in his cold dead hand, now that would be proof.
