Secretary Gates and the Air Force have come up with a multi-billion dollar cost reduction plan for the Marines.
They plan to implement the 1st phase shortly. The cost reduction entails the elimination of all planes for the MARSOC Airborne School.
If the effort is successful, the new methods will be propagated across the services.
