I lurrve me them little rascals! In our previous place, we had two or three that wintered over - apparently there's quite a population of them in Puget Sound who do not migrate. Very surprised they survive the cold snaps. I made sure my feeder was thawed out and they practically lived on it!

Hadn't decided to put up a feeder at the new place, but since I had a small screamer zoom past me the other day, I'm gonna get the feeder out and put it up to see what happens.

My cat took one down, but didn't kill it, so I attempted to revive, but alas, to no avail. It is amazing to hold one of them suckers in your hand.
