The cemetery where we did the monument dedication had at least 3 other Revolutionary War graves, about 100 confederate crosses, along with servicemen from WWI, WWII and Korea in the area we were located in.

As the family has since found out in their genealogy search of their relative, PVT Lowder's unit served under George Washington, crossed the Delaware and wintered at some place named Valley Forge.

We had about 30 bikes that rode escort for this mission.

It was my honor and privilege to present the flag to the NOK. A very special flag with only 13 stars in a field of blue.
