A Voyage to the South Sea by William Bligh
Prompted by the continuing demonization of Vice Admiral William Bligh, most recently in the news media about the removal from command of the Captain of the USS Cowpens (CG 63), I'm re-reading A VOYAGE TO THE SOUTH SEA, by Lieutenant William Bligh.
The digital version is available free at : http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/15411 or http://www.gutenberg.org/files/15411...-h/15411-h.htm
It's a log book so it's rather dry but informative and very detailed.
