Bob Munden is a real nice guy and a helluva shot. However it's a sport and not a combat skill and he realizes that. he's also a great gunsmith for single action revolvers. It's more silver screen stuff than historical.
Western gunfighters were called man-killers back in the day. There were hardly any face off gunfights. Lots of back shooting and ambushes. Plenty of drunken shoots in saloons. Wild Bills shootout with Tut was probably from about 75 -100 feet. Bill always said in a fight you have to "Take your time in a hurry."
