On December 1, author, psychiatrist, former Muslim writer-activist, Wafa Sultan, fighter for the rights of Muslim women, debated Daniel Pipes, father of the moderate meme. "The clash we are witnessing around the world is ... a clash between a mentality that belongs to the Middle Ages and another that belongs to the 21st century," Sultan has said. "It is a clash between freedom and oppression."

Interesting that Pipes is backing off the word "moderate"(poor choice) conceding the "reformed" is more appropriate.
