Have your passwords for bank, email and other accounts on a media type that is protected by passwords and encrypted.. do not leave hard copies laying around in the open. especially helpful when your house is broken into and electronic devices are stolen. have the serial and model numbers written down for ease of making the police and insurance claim reports
