I'm kind of suprised that Al Qaida hasn't pulled something off there already. With all of the American military installations and businesses there Germany is a target rich enviroment. Any operatives there would have plenty of choices to strike at either the Germans, the Americans, or a host of other nationalities for that matter. I have visited a few nice bars in Frankfurt, Berlin, Cologne, etc. that cater exclusively to the American and British expatriate business community and in all of the times that I have been there they were packed with customers. They were wide open and would make perfect targets in my opinion. Could you imagine Al Qaida setting off a bomb in a crowded beer tent during the Oktoberfest or at Neuschwanstein Castle on a warm summer afternoon?
